Sara's Side

Although we had been to a few functions at the same time, we first met on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Temo and Brandy's house. Andrea and I had gone over there to visit as we often did on Sunday and Felix came over to help Temo build a dog run.

Prior to this meeting we were all planning a trip to Jackson Hole in June for a fun weekend. It was nice to meet Felix, since he was the only one going on the trip whom I didn't know.

We chatted and talked for a little while that day. Felix was very nice and had a good sense of humor. I thought he was pretty cute, so I was excited about the trip.

We talked on the phone a couple of times before our trip just making arrangements, but we didn't really start getting to know each other until we went to Jackson Hole. We got along very well up in Jackson and I really liked Felix. The next week was Vinnie's birthday party where Felix and I were both invited. Afterward we attended a pow wow with his family and I knew that's when Felix liked me too.

The next day he asked me out on our first date for that next Saturday. He asked me to go to Snowbird which is where my parents went on their first date. It was an omen. I guess Snowbird is the key because the rest, as they say, is history.

Felix's Side

When I first met Sara, I thought, "She is a good time. She will be coming to Orem often to visit Brandy."

We became friends, thanks to some coaxing from cupid or Brandy. I'll admit I was nervous at first. One Sunday evening during summer one of our numerous barbeques, I heard that Sara was near Orem. I said what the heck, I'll call her and invite her over. So I did and she cheerfully accepted my invitation. I was beaming with happiness. Soon we began meeting every week and I found myself wanting to be near her all the time. Now she is to be my wife and the most important person in my life. love you babe.
